Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BagWork (“the Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) at bagwork.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

BagWork provides AI-powered resume tailoring and job application tracking tools. Our Service allows you to:

• Create and maintain a library of your professional experiences
• Analyze job descriptions and receive AI-powered recommendations
• Generate tailored resumes as typeset PDFs
• Track job applications and manage your job search pipeline

User Accounts

Account Creation

You must create an account to use BagWork. You may sign up using Google OAuth, GitHub OAuth, or email/password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BagWork. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and current.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our permission
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

Your Content

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit to BagWork, including your resume content, work experiences, and job application data (“Your Content”).

License to Us

By submitting Your Content, you grant BagWork a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes processing Your Content through third-party AI services (such as OpenAI) to generate resume optimizations.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of sharing it. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

AI-Generated Content

BagWork uses artificial intelligence to analyze job descriptions and suggest resume improvements. AI-generated suggestions are provided as-is and should be reviewed before use. You are responsible for the final content of your resumes, and we make no guarantees about job search outcomes.

Subscription and Payment

Free Tier

BagWork currently offers a free tier with full access to resume tailoring and application tracking features.

Paid Plans

We may introduce paid subscription plans in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance and provide clear pricing information. Billing will be handled through Stripe, and you will be subject to Stripe’s terms of service.

Changes to Pricing

We reserve the right to change our pricing structure at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price changes.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You may terminate by deleting your account through your account settings.
• We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAGWORK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BagWork, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Georgia.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
